DEPARTMENT: WEATHERIZATION
BASIC FUNCTIONS: This position provides administrative support to the Weatherization Program
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Weatherization
FLSA: Non-Exempt
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position provides clerical and administrative support to the Weatherization Program. The
Administrative Assistant assists with data entry, filing, mailings, answering phones and scheduling
appointments. The position may also interact with clients of the Weatherization program to assist with the
application process or other related forms. The Administrative Assistant must possess excellent computer,
communication and interpersonal skills. This is a temporary position that may run through mid-July, 2016.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide clerical and administrative support to the Weatherization Program.
Continuously monitor and prioritize e-mails, voice mail messages and work assignments.
Perform data entry within spreadsheets and internal databases
Assist with application process of the Weatherization Program
Maintain filing and organizational systems
Sort and distribute department mail to appropriate personnel
Conduct other duties as requested by manager or President & CEO

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office products
Ability to work and communicate with diverse populations
Ability to work a flexible schedule and simultaneously handle multiple projects
Ability to travel within the US to attend meetings, conferences and events
Ability to work under pressure
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Previous experience within non-profit sectors
Knowledge of local community
