Bilingual Reading Interventionist/ Specialist
Under the direction of the Executive Principal, our full-time Bilingual Reading Specialist/Interventionist will collaborate with school teams to review student data to plan and implement interventions for struggling learners. Applicants will maintain knowledge of best practices in their discipline and support teacher growth. They will be responsible for assessment review and facilitation, collaboration, student instruction, and data collection and analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with all staff
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ reading levels and areas of need.
- Develop and implement reading intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Provide interventions to students either one on one or in small groups, using evidence-based reading strategies.
- Monitor students’ progress regularly and adjust intervention plans as needed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Meet all required timelines
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Analyze data efficiently
- Act as a data resource for staff
- Fulfills professional obligations by attending meetings, in-service, professional and parent conferences, as well as participates in special events of the school and the agency.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Principal or CEO.

- Demonstrates Basic computer knowledge, Basic knowledge of excel, word, and Google forms

- Demonstrate effective time management, organizational skills, and prioritization of work to meet the needs of the users.

Education Requirements:
- Valid Wisconsin Teaching License
- 316 Reading and/or 317 Reading Specialist License.

- Previous classroom/intervention experience
