Crew Technician
This position is responsible for performing weatherization services within qualified residences. As directed by the Crew Chief, the Crew Technician loads equipment and materials onto the truck for each day’s work, performs weatherization services on the job site, and performs set-up and take-down of material (including any required safety protocols) at each job.Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
The minimum requirement for this job is that the candidate should have at least two years of experience working in a Weatherization Program. Knowledge of home construction process. Bi-lingual English-
Spanish communication is an asset. The ability to simultaneously keep several projects moving and on target. Knowledge and understanding of building science principles, worker safety regulations (OSHA), home construction, heating systems and weatherization. Must have a valid driver’s license.
