Crew Technician-Weatherization

Position Description: General Laborer Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Jefferson County - Based Out of Waukesha $20.75-$25.00 per hour

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

This position is responsible for providing weatherization services as directed by the Crew Chief with an emphasis on installing insulation.

• Basic Required Skills:

• Willingness to provide excellent customer service

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.

Desired Characteristics:

• Bilingual English-Spanish communication is an asset.
• Technical school or college degree is an asset.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and familiarity with weatherization or construction processes and materials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The employee may have unsupervised access to children, both at the clients’ homes and at the Weatherization Department office.
• The noise level in the work environment can be very loud.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., ear protection, vision protection, use of respirator, etc.).

Pay: $20.75 - $25.00 per hour
