HOUSEKEEPER

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Housekeeper is a fulfilling job where you will always have something to do. You can take great pride in ensuring that everything is in good repair, clean, and neat for everyone who enters La Casa de Esperanza. You will be part of a dedicated team what works towards keeping La Casa de Esperanza a clean and safe place for all who work or visit the building. The work hours for this role are from 11 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

· Clean bathrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors & walls located in some classrooms and hallways.

· Vacuum carpets in classrooms and entrances.

· Clean windows in classrooms & entrances.

· Sweep & mop bathrooms, classrooms, cafeteria, hallways, stairwells & atrium.

· Remove garbage from outside of office doors, classrooms, cafeteria & bathrooms.

· Clean garbage cans inside & outside when needed.

· Dust windowsills in some offices & common areas

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor, Director of Operations, or President and CEO

Job Skills Requirements:

· Experience in residential or commercial cleaning

· Ability to work independently and keep on task

· Work well with others

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education Requirements:

· High School Diploma/GED; or 2-5 years of related experience

Desired Characteristics:

· Bilingual English/Spanish
